HERE WE GOOOOO. omg i have wanted to talk about bracelets for so fucking long lol. even though i just made a blog post i'm like. no i NEED to talk about bracelets.
so when i was living alone on fremont in downtown vegas, i had this tiny studio apartment that didn't have space for most hobbies. i had my kotatsu but i couldn't do anything crazy like learning to sew or making my big model train area. in fact i had most of my collections put in storage, i only had 3 of my many many transformers at the house with me and my entire my little pony collection as well as my lolita wardrobe were just sitting dormant in a storage unit because i didn't have the space to put them in my actual apartment. thankfully now we live in this big ass house and i have everything back, but the hobby i picked up while living in the tiny house was bracelet making, because i could just throw all the beads in tupperware containers and slide them under my bed, and you don't need a huge area just to make bracelets.
my sister and i got SUPER into this together. we started calling the bracelets "assorted flavors" because that was what the box the beads lived in said on the side for whatever reason. so i refer to the bracelets as "flavors". i know they are just bracelets but humor me lmao, mine are flavors. i wear these damn flavors EVERY DAY. i wear em to work, i wear em to fancy outings, on vacations, to concerts, basically everywhere. i like to make them in a variety of colors and styles so i always have at least one that matches my outfit, even though i usually just put a bunch of them on.
let's ignore the cat hairs in these pictures because i'm taking the pictures for this post on the windowsil in the cats' room. the cats have their own bedroom (I KNOW. IT SOUNDS EXTRA. WHICH IT IS. they literally have their own bed lol) and the light in there is honestly the best in the afternoon. so yeah let's look at some of my favorite flavors!!
this spring day flavor is one that matches with my best friend, jules! i made them for us when she was experiencing psychosis because of her schizophrenia. it was a very dark time and i wasn't sure anything would ever bring back the jules we all know and love, because she was really mentally ill. but even though she was having really bad memory loss, she retained the memory of watching the music video for BTS spring day with me, because we would watch it almost every day. sometimes i would cry while watching it because the lyrics felt like they were meant for me in that moment! i just kept telling myself over and over that i wasn't going to lose my best friend. after every winter, spring will come. i fell asleep at night repeating that. and sure enough, with the right medication and therapy, spring came. and we made our matching spring day bracelets to always remember that no darkness will last forever. kind of a sad story but the bracelets are so pretty!
acmates!!! i miss acme so much. i hope they can come back to the USA when their visas are more attainable. i made this one after sin city anime 2023 when we got to hangout with acme and just had a great con with them. i treasure my memories with this band so much and i hope i can make more soon! so i wear this one all the time to show that i love acme so much lol!
PROWLRANTULAS GANG RISE UP. of course i made bracelets for my otp of all otps. i could spend forever writing about this fucking toxic ass transformers yaoi and their fucked up test tube baby. i love them so much. these bracelets came out pretty too but i wish i had a solid silver star to put on the prowl one so that the color stops rubbing off!
it's no secret: kim seokjin is my ult bias. i love ballad singers and i love breathy voices. i love everything about jin and i love that his favorite color is pink, just like me. for that reason, i have made a metric fuckton of jin-related bracelets with pink beads. i love the song epiphany so much that i have two epiphany flavors lol.

another jin one, this one is from his solo song "yours" that i was absolutely obsessed with when it first came out. i just think this one in particular looks so pretty!
but my alltime favorite solo jin song? CHAMCHI!!!!! i am so obsessed with this super tuna flavor i made. it's really big on me though LMAO i have tiny wrists,,
i sure do make a lot of BTS related bracelets lol. the very first one i made was jungkook's cursed "I WANT EAT" because i just thought it would be so funny to have.
okay last BTS ones lol i promise. i really liked the song "my universe" so i made lots of flavors for it, including jin's really pretty low register line "you make my world light up inside"!
STRAY! KIDS! WOO! these involve some more crazy beads we just got a couple weeks ago, at least the lee know one has those fancy beads. idk why i just really love men in kpop who are hella cursed. and i love vocalists lmao.
some other random ones, morro from ninjago (it glows in the dark bc HE A GHOST LOL), ishi papa because he's my side piece, and the really pretty ky kiske one i just made.
let's actually take a closer look at that ky one, because man i really knocked it out of the park with this. i love ky so much and i have been rping as him for over 16 years now, i have watched his character grow from how i was first introduced to him when i was little (my first gg game was accent core plus) through overture which i played religiously despite its weirdness, into the lovely person he is now. i literally HATE the word "muse" to describe characters you rp as, but when i look at ky i feel like i really understand why people use that word lmao. he really has been my muse for a long ass time. so i needed a flavor to showcase that!
this one also came out so unreasonably pretty. i wish i had used clear letters. like i said i really love cursed vocalists so of course i was an easy victim for yejun of plave. u_u
MY ANDREW FLAVOR!! i actually made matching andrew and neil ones for me and my one AFTG bestie dez, who is the one who got me into the series. btw you should read the all for the game series, especially because you can literally get the first book for zero dollars on amazon. torture yourself for FREE!!!
i made this L flavor because i really wanted to have something to wear while we are cosplaying as light and L for anime night mart. and it came out cute!
i have lots of midousuji flavors but this is the most recent and by far my most subtle. we had those crazy pearl heart beads so i decided i would just do his initials inside of it. i also tried to incorporate all the colors from the kyofushi uniform onto it by adding the light and dark pink!
lastly, here is a bracelet i made to remember hal! he was so orange and his demeanor was so bright and goofy and he was like a happy little flower in my life. so i made it extra bright, orangey, and happy. i also used the cute charm for his bracelet because he's extra special.
so there you have it! assorted flavors of the day! maybe i'll take more pics of more of my bracelets sometime soon and do another post about them but for now that's all i got OKAY BYEEEE
