i have meant to update this blog for so long. THE WHOLE SITE. i need to do a variety of things on this site and ive built out chunks of html and STILL HAVENT UPDATED IT. AND ITS BEEN LIKE A MONTH AND A HALF SINCE I POSTED HERE. I NEED TO UPDATE MY NEOCITIES NEIGHBORS SO BAD.
idk when, but at some point in there i just started getting so busy!!! sometimes it hits me that i have two jobs lol, mostly when both jobs need a bunch of content made within a fairly short period of time. right now i feel like the marketing world is gearing up for summer, so i suddenly found myself building out content for so many places. i have gotten to make some really interesting stuff for people across the country! i kind of want to visit florida, to get a beter vibe for the ads i'm making that are running there. i make so many ads in florida, what's it like??? humid, to my understanding... all the time, all year round. so the opposite of where i live LMAO
also just a bunch of random shit has gone on- the craziness of switching cars around while my mom moved the remainder of her stuff to her house in kernville, a bunch of events and get togethers, wedding planning... mostly work lol. but also ROLEPLAYS. i feel like every second of my free time that i haven't been devoting to 'work' of some kind (which encompasses actual working for money, helping people, doing stuff and tasks that are either mandatory or i took them on for myself, and going to scheduled events) has been completely devoted to roleplay lol. like i am so sucked in and hyperfixated it's not even funny. my brain DOES NOT TURN OFF. i am losing sleep because of our AUs and roleplays. every song ever is about them. sometimes i have to stop working on my actual work and look at some pics of them to quench some kind of thirst for these stupid mofos. i feel the need to draw them all the time.
also i have gotten really really into holomodels because it pertains to the jyujyu brainrot i'm experiencing, as well as horse race tests. idk man. my brain is SO FULL and i wish there was more than 24 hours in each day so i can continue going crazy about all the shit i enjoy for longer. i'll try to recap AND KEEP IT BRIEF but also there are going to be lots of pics because its me were talkin about here lol
imma work backwards from now. jyushi's birthday was the 14th of april and it is the first time bot has gotten to celebrate a birthday for one of their anime husbands (their other husband is shokudaikiri from tkrb and we all know how weird the appointed 'sword days' are and how there are multiple every year and its just a mess bc they dont HAVE bdays) so we really went all out! they ordered a cake from freeds bakery which is a really yummers bakery here in vegas. it came out so fucking cool and they set all their jyushi merch up around it to take pics!!
also, i got to try my hand at making pasta napolitan. it's jyushi's fav food! IT CAME OUT SO FUCKING GOOD LMAOOOO i gobbled it up like a maniac. i give myself a pat on the back for this one, i was really wearing my chef hat. it's basically ketchup pasta with veggies and kurobuta sausage. and it fucking eats. im gonna make it all the time now!
then, before that, I WENT TO THE NARUTO SYMPHONIC ORCHESTRA WITH BRINA, CAS, AND MARI. it's WILD as fuck that we were all able to go together because we are all like. middle school friends who bonded over naruto and mari lives in west virginia now and cas just barely moved back to vegas but we somehow managed to all be here at the same time. also, brina is my sister lol so we live in the same city still. but a fun midousuji lore story is that my sister and i NEVER got along as kids even though we are basically twins. we were raised together from day 1 doing exactly the same shit all the time but we constantly got in these crazy physical beat em up fights. like we argued and fought over EVERYTHING and could not be more opposite. we played games and stuff together but we would usually fight about them eventually, like whose turn it was on the computer or fuckin whatever. we used to own a gamecube and the original animal crossing and we'd be constantlyyyyy fighting over who got to play. anyway you get the picture. WE DID NOT GET ALONG like at all!! that was.... until we were middle schoolers and we both became obsessed with naruto.
naruto straight up made us best friends. sharing a common interest that had a lot of depth completely changed something in our brain chemistry. we went from begrudging siblings to TWINSSSS bro. when i was little i wanted my own room so much and resented the fact that i had to share with my sister... then naruto happened and we opted to not sleep in our rooms at night (we had basically JUST GOTTEN SEPARATE BEDROOMS) and just sleep in the living room together on the two couches respectively, so that we could FURTHER DISCUSS NARUTO SHIT into the night until we both passed out. our naruto ocs had lore together, we watched all the meme videos and episodes together and read the manga and SHARED THEM. like we were amicably sharing the computer and the manga volumes that we had, like no biggie we'll just take turns! like idk how to describe it but naruto was our first real fandom as a unit and it literally made us into best friends. which is why we have matching akatsuki cloud tattoos today.
cas was actually who introduced my sister to naruto, who then introduced it to me. cas was the first person i knew with a naruto headband, and i remember specifically meeting them in middle school while they were wearing it. in middle school we all called the headbands "the shinobiness" (lmao kill me, but at the same time thats cute as hell, we were dumb lil kids with funny nicknames for stuff that made us happy) and everyone in our friend group was wearing naruto headbands soon because that franchise seriously hit our school like crack hit the streets in the 80s. we were singing the opening theme songs, practicing hand signs, scouring the internet for fanart, creating our own ocs and stories, and just really coming unglued over it. usually the 'anime kids' get bullied in school but for us it was the opposite, if you liked naruto you were COOL. you GOT IT. my little group used to go to a rec center after school to go play on this big desert mesa while we waited for our parents to pick us up (dont even ask bc i have no idea why we were allowed to do this) and we would just go out there and literally larp as naruto characters. i look back on this time with such fondness because i know middle school can be awkward and shitty for a lot of kids and i had my fair share of problems at the time but i look back on those years with such fondness and joy because i was involved in this massive school wide fandom phenomenon with my friends and it was just a great time!!!
anyway dayum that's enough backstory. the fucking symphony. IT WAS REALLY, REALLY AMAZING. the musicians were SUPER GOOD. like it sounded like the music from the show, but in person, performed perfectly. it was such a cool experience. all four of us were like "ok guys we cant scream lol" but at the beginning of the show they literally said, go ahead and scream. the vibe is to cheer for your faves. we were like say fucking less lol. i was SCREAMING for sasuke. i am his defense attorney so naturally i have to combat his haters all the time. i think out of everything, the gaara vs lee chuunin exams fight got the loudest screams and cheers. which tbh very valid.
they showed an extremely abridged compilation of clips from the beginning of the show up until shippuden. they tried to really only include key parts, so it was like, kurama gets sealed in baby naruto, mizuki and iruka incident, naruto gets assigned to team kakashi with sasuke and sakura, they go to the mist village, naruto fox power activates when he thinks sasuke died, chuunin exams where orochimaru marks sasuke, gaara vs lee, sasuke uses chidori, konoha 9/11 happens, gaara shukaku thing happens, orochimaru kills the hokage, they go find tsunade, itachi throws sasuke against the wall, rescue sasuke arc, narusasu waterfall fight, jiraya takes naruto on as his apprentice, the end. it was about 2ish hours long. they had to cut A LOT out to make the time but it was so funny what they cut out. kakashi (who is far from my fav character but i recognize his importance) got like 1 single line of dialogue. and it made me realize that sasuke really is the main character. we love to see it!
afterward we went to get ramen! cas got the special blue (sasuke) egg in their ramen which is some kind of special omen that gives them a free bowl of ramen! we also found this lost media gaalee comic that we were all obsessed with as kids lmao
urmmmmmmm what happened before that. i rescued a fucked up baby pigeon from a storage unit. AND ANIME LAS VEGAS. honestly ALV is a one day con to me, i think its weird that everything is combined into 1 big room and its pretty mid as far as vegas cons go, but this one was great cuz i got to cosplay FRED LUNACY!!!
idk how many people are playing sega saturn games from 1996 BUT REN DID RECOGNIZE ME!! i think lots of people can recognize lunacy from the game grumps playthrough, just fred isnt like..... a top of mind name and cosplay lol. last anime las vegas i cosplayed morro from ninjago and ONE SINGLE PERSON RECOGNIZED ME TOO. i love cosplaying characters that people have no idea wtf is the context. people with obscure blorbos it's our year!!! and by our year i mean EVERY YEAR IS OUR YEAR!
ALSO, HERE IS MY BEAUTIFUL WIFE'S OUTFIT TOO, i got them a custom amanda plushie and they made an amanda inspired punk outfit to match her!!!! i think they looked SOOO IMMACULATE AHH i love them teehee. i got to dye their hair half black/half red and i think it came out pretty cool too

ANYWAY BACK TO HOLOMODELS. WE HAVE THE HOLOMODELS JYUTO AND JYUSHI. no joke this has been taking up a lot of my free time too. its incredibly tedious in a good way, i guess the word is that you have to be meticulous with it? posing in AR is very difficult and it would be much easier imo if i had a VR set. posing these things in a metaquest would probably be way easier than doing it on my iphone screen lol. but im SO ADDICTED TO IT. it is literally so much fun. its very easy to make them clip through eachother lol. and getting the physics right is difficult as fuck. my biggest hurdle is going to be interlaced fingers. that is like a test to see how good i am at posing them lol.
when i saw them on my feed i originally thought people were usinglike preset poses somehow. like buying anime girl poses and using those to make them look moe and shit. but no, there is no presets outside of 5 that they are loaded up with when you purchase the card, and 1 of those 5 is a t pose lol. the t pose is the easiest to work with too. everything is BY HAND. all these poses and hands and shit have been intricately crafted by yours truly!!!! when you ship a rarepair with basically no content at all, you have to make your own content. and holomodels is the perfect avenue for doing just that tbh. so here is a bunch of poses of our fuck ass crack ship!!!!

LVLUP EXPO IS NEXT WEEKEND!!! bot and i are going to cosplay doppo and dice (yes we will be playing and betting on mancala so come find us and challenge us to a game and gamble lol, we can teach you how to play because mancala is dope and we are building a cult following around playing mancala) and i will be cosplaying two other mofos....that i don't know yet lol. i haven't decided because i have so much cosplay shit lmao. i truly just don't know who i feel like cosplaying honestly. maybe i'll be saiki but i have to find a solution to make my glasses green by friday if thats the case hahahaaaaaaa I HAVE NO IDEA!!!
