uwaaaarrrhhhh here we are and it's the last day of july..... somehow... already.. july felt like it took one day but it's also felt like MONTHS! maybe because there are 31 days in july instead of 30?
idk why but i feel like i need to let the world know this: if i (by some freak chance) died in a horrible car accident or otherwise random chance happening, please know that i literally died at PEAK happiness. i know saying it like this makes me sound like im being held hostage by a cult lol but i mean this with my whole heart: i really feel like i'm the happiest and most well i have ever been!!! i can't wait for my wedding IN ONLY 9 MONTHS AAHHH!!!! like i'm so hyped to marry the actual most wonderful friend i have ever made in my whole life, my chance encounter who is interested in the same things as me and supports me and loves me so wholly!! i cant WAIT to be their bride!!! i love our four doofy ass cats so much, our lil rescue babies, caring for them makes me so happy. bot's family is doing well, mommers (bot's mom) just got baby geese, and my mom is happilly retired in the woods, feeding deer, befriending squirrels, birdwatching, and lounging by the river without a care in the world. my dad and his wife are still here in town with us and he gets to travel all over the USA for videography jobs. i'm following in his footsteps with my photography (of my own free will lol, i don't think he ever intended for me to become a photographer but here we are) and i love my jobs and my career so much! there are so many interesting and awesome clients i get to work with from so many different places! it's weird to say but i really like all the ads i currently get to make! i feel like i have a great variety of stuff that makes my brain really work in the best way and i get to learn about new markets. i'm well off financially and i can afford all my hobbies and life needs, and i can also assist in paying off debt for my fiancee which was a huge dream of mine! my sister and her husband are well and happy, their pups are so loved and i get to play games with my sister in my free time and we have fun together on chicken smoothie! i have the most wonderful friends in the world, talking to jules every day is something i'll never take for granted, talking to river about uma musume and kpop always brightens my day (we have been friends for almost 10 years now!)!! i love getting to talk to cas and mari on discord, i love seeing pals like ren, adia, chani, sam, vix, stephen, and others at anime events, and seeing all the starbucks peeps makes me so hyped too! (if i listed all my friends this would be a 30 pg long post so im just talking about the friends ive seen recently lol) i feel like i'm really working with the dream team at my job(s), having people like minna, omie, em, chad, deezy, jenna, and james as coworkers is really just *chefs kiss* because everyone is so GOOD. like really they just rule!! and there are so many more things i'm looking forward to this year: bot's bday is SOOOOON (sept 15 but whatever), we are going with a big group to see the demon slayer movie before that, and that's as far as my memory is going LOL it's thursdayyyyyy
UHHHH YEAH. anyway that's my huge run on paragraph about how i love my life lol. i love my fiancee, our cats, our home, our families, my sister, my friends, my jobs, my roleplays, my interests, my hobbies, and just my life in general. i swear on my life that i'm not being stalked (to my knowledge lol) or being held hostage by scientologists or anything. i just want to express that i really am extremely grateful for my life, it's really wonderful and happy, i feel like i say the word happy saur much lmao but it's because i'm happy and i have no proper synonym!!
i mentioned in my last blog post that for our anniversary on june 19, we built a fort in our living room for fun. it has now been more than a month and we are still living in the fort because we're just having so much fun with it. i love laying on the floor (it's a soft floor because it's partially a deconstructed memory foam mattress topper lol but anyway) and i love playing games in the fort with my fiancee! i think we'll just leave the fort up for the rest of the summer because it makes the living room cooler. the summer here lasts until mid october so we will probably be staying inside of it until it's cooler out and i want to set my kotatsu back up.
uhhhh anime night mart! it was at area 15 and while i love area 15 as a venue, it was NOT the right place to have an event like anime night mart. we got extremely lucky and we skipped the line, but a lot of other people were standing outside in a massive line for over an hour and a half when it was 115 degrees outside. bot and i actually got stuck in traffic and OUR TIRE BLEW OUT IN THE TRAFFIC so we ended up changing the tire to the spare and then heading to the event! i consider it to actually be a lucky break because then we were able to get parked and get in super super fast while other people were driving around looking for a parking space only to be met with an hour+ wait in line and they called it quits. but i was really happy to see all our friends! and i made some new friends in the line to get a spam musubi lol! here is a pic of bot outside omega mart because they are my lil omega lol.
then earlier in the month, our friends at AC unit hosted a yaoi and yuri cupsleeve! it was soooo much fun and had an incredible turnout, as with all vegas events, the venue got very warm and i was sweating while i ran around taking pictures, but i had a blast being the cheki person and cosplaying ren from DMMD! bot cosplayed as clear!! we had yaoi and yuri jesus and there were a ton of fun and funny activities, and the drinks were honestly bomb, kpop 1004 cafe i was truly not aware of your game.
we went to a haikyuu cupsleeve and cosplayed as kenhina!!!! i was honestly jumping up and down with joy during this, which is in character lol, but you gotta understand. kenhina is basically confirmed to be endgame to me and i really like that ship, so being able to do this cosplay with the actual love of my life and fiancee was so exciting to me. like i feel like i really waited my whole life to meet the person who would and could do this cosplay with me. haikyuu was one of the things that i clung to heavily in 2017 when i was extremely sick and bedridden for a long time, so it means a ton to me. we went to a claw machine arcade and bot won a ton of plushies, and we traded them in for BOURBON FROM UMA HAHAHA, LIKE WHY WAS SHE THERE??? i made a video about this ans bot posted it on their IG!
then, we got the opportunity to see the kpop group big ocean and we ended up FRONT ROW!! all the members of big ocean are all partially deaf / hard of hearing, so it was great to go support a group with disabilities! they had so much ADA stuff that was really impressive to see- there were people signing to the crowd and they perform using korean sign language, american sign language, and international sign language! they put on a really amazing show and they really gave it 150%, we got a fuckin SIGNED ALBUM and made new friends at the concert as well! my screenshots don't do the videos justice but truly really they were right in front of us, smiling at our camera and making hand hearts with us the whole time hahaha, it was great!
other than that, i have just been working and playing uma musume. i'm really glad to see bot enjoying this game so much. as a former competitive horsegirl (retired due to health reasons) it makes me really happy to see people enjoying media about horses! i recognized a few names from the game (mcqueen and kitasan black stuck out to me because i have previously watched races involving both horses lol) so i'm having fun with it too! i love tachyon because i am just a sucker for brunettes and mad scientists. my type is so predictable!!!!
i also set up my stamps requests page, for anyone who wants free stamps. you can request just about anything, no matter how specific, and i'll try my best at it, because making stamps is a fun way to pass the time for me!

ANYWEENIEEEEEE i think thats about it for the update!!! the other night i went on a walk in the evening to pick up my horse race tests shirts in the mail, and it was so nice out. i love the summer nights here in vegas. cicadas are buzzing in every tree, the sun sets late, the smell of sprinklers on the hot concrete. there was a kid pool party happening and i could hear them all laughing and jumping in the water having a blast. people were cooking on the grill. the lights in our complex lit up the waterfalls and it looks so nice. and the air is crispy, dry, and warm. it's like being in a lovely little air fryer. i love it here. here's some random pics!
