this isn't finished yet and is just a massive work in progress!!
this was supposed to be a joke... and it ended up completely altering the trajectory of our lives... when my spouse, bot, got super deep into hypnosis mic around november 2024, they immediately knew jyushi was their favorite. i've (unfortunately) been into hypmic since launch, not super deep but just enjoying the music and content, and jyuto has been my fave since day 1. in a joking way, we said how funny it would be if we started shipping them together, since in past shared fandoms we have ended up shipping our fav characters together simply BECAUSE they were our favorites. but this ship was SO cracked out and unlikely that at first we really only joked about it. we came up with a really simple one-shot roleplay idea about jyushi losing amanda and jyuto helping him recover his lost item, but it SPIRALLED into an entire 150k+ word saga that ended up consuming our lives.
now, we are so deep into this ship that it's hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that they literally have had two whole entire canon interactions ever. like we are delusional about it. we have multiple AUs and roleplays centering around them and are just generally absolutely batshit insane about jyuto x jyushi. this ship didn't exist at all before we made it. literally there is no reason to ship these characters, at all. there was no one single piece of fanart, a single fic, or a random person on pixiv with a rarepair. there was nothing. bot and i call ourselves the co-CEOs of jyujyu because we really built this from the ground up. everything on this site was created, written, drawn, modeled, or commissioned by us. and i appreciate all the artists who have drawn this crackship so much because they have helped bring our ship to life! this is my little shrine to our extremely obscure obsession with these two, so feel free the browse through the pages and get to know our stupid crackship!
